Tr(wrapped) is a self-portrait series that explores the emotional weight of mental-health isolation and anxiety. Over the past few months, my anxiety intensified to the point where even leaving the house became a source of overwhelming worry. That growing sense of fear created a kind of inertial confinement—an isolation that felt both self-imposed and unavoidable.
This series aims to visualize that experience. Through the imagery of being wrapped, enclosed, or obscured, I translate the invisible tension of anxiety into a physical, tangible form. Each portrait becomes a snapshot of the quiet battles happening beneath the surface: the hesitation before stepping outside, the pressure in the chest, the mental looping, and the desire for safety that transforms into confinement.
